Practice loops

Five 30-minute sessions. Each ends with evidence and one correction.

SIX-MONTH SYSTEM · 150 MINUTES PER WEEK

Weekly loop

  1. Input: listen or read once for meaning, again for structure, then verify exact language.
  2. Grammar: contrast two forms, retrieve the meaning rule, and produce six original examples.
  3. Vocabulary: retrieve five word networks; say a personal example and one contrast for each.
  4. Listening and speech: reconstruct a short recording, mark stress and reductions, then repeat.
  5. Production and review: speak or write on a real topic, classify language gaps, and choose one repair.

Retest: new context after 1 day · 1 week · 1 month

Monthly checkpoint

Six-month rhythm

Months 1-2: clause engine plus present, past, perfect, and future meaning. Months 3-4: noun phrases, modality, conditions, clauses, verb patterns, and vocabulary depth. Months 5-6: cohesion, pronunciation, listening, interaction, writing, presentation, and integrated repair. Earlier forms remain interleaved every week.

Rule: practice that leaves no recording, text, answer sheet, or error entry is hard to improve. Produce evidence.

Practice materials: British Council B1-B2 grammar, vocabulary, B2 listening, B2 speaking, and B2 writing.
